Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect when doing therapy with you?
Our sessions will be held online using a HIPAA compliant video platform. I offer therapy sessions for those committed to prioritizing their mental health. If you would like to do art therapy with me, you’ll need to provide your own art supplies of your choosing and bring them to session.
We will work together on the issues of your choosing, and I will support you through what comes up during the session. I offer a wide variety of options for therapy and different trauma treatments that include exploring your emotions, behavior patterns, coping skills, creative projects, ways to reprocess traumatic events, and mindfulness training.
What are your fees? Do you take insurance?
I offer a sliding scale so that we can find a price that is comfortable and affordable for you. My standard rate is $130 per session. More info on my sliding scale is available upon request.
I take all major credit cards and Venmo for easy online payments.
I do take insurance at this time, specifically Blue Cross Blue Shield, Presbyterian, and both of their Medicaid plans. If you have other insurance plans that I do not take, it may be possible to submit claims for reimbursement if you have out of network benefits. For information about this is available upon request.
What kind of clients do you work with?
I work with teens (14+) and adults. I really enjoy working with young adults and women who are struggling with trauma, sexual abuse, boundaries, relationships, and family issues. I also enjoy working with people of all ages who are interested in using art as a way to communicate, express themselves, and feel empowered.
What if I don’t live in Santa Fe?
No problem! As long as you are a resident of the state of New Mexico and have an address in the state, we can work together. That is the beauty of doing therapy online.
What if I don’t live in New Mexico?
You are not eligible to have therapy sessions with me, but I can offer you non-clinical creative sessions for personal development.
